ANIMATED GIF SPECIFICATIONS
What is it?
An animated GIF is a big GIF file (GIF89a standard)
which is composed of several individual GIF files (frames).
Unlike Java or HTML, there is no need to do programming. First,
use a painting or drawing software (e.g. Paint Shop Pro, JASC) to
make individual GIF frames of the animation and save them as separate
GIF file (GIF87a or GIF89a). Then, use a GIF animation making
software to assemble the individual GIF frames/files into
one animated GIF file and save it to another GIF file. Put
the animated GIF file into your web page with the command and view
it with your favorite browser.
